- 1. My experience is that people new to C++ have a lot of trouble
- understanding compiler error messages (I am thinking of Borland C++ here; I
- have no experience with Microsoft C++). I would appreciate it very much if
- anyone with knowledge of or experience with error detectors like Lint but for
- C++ would share their knowledge or experience with me. What products exist?
- How helpful are they?
-
- 2. Does anyone know of a compiler with significantly better error messages
- for beginning programmers than other compilers?
-
- Replies can be email to BridgeDL@gnn.com (David Bridges). I will post a
- summary to the news group. -- David
